Other distribution: Cambodia, India (Assam, Andaman Is.), Indonesia (Sumatera), Malaysia (E. & W.), Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam. Intercepted in Japan in timber from the region. (4)

Biology: Polyphagous ( Maiti & Saha 2004). It has also been collected from the crop of an edible-nest swiftlet ( Collocalia fuciphaga ) ( Beaver & Browne 1979).
