B e m e r k u n g e n: Diese Art lässt sich relativ leicht anhand ihrer irisierenden Elytren erkennen, die Determination muss aber, um sicher zu gehen, durch Genitalpräparation verifiziert werden. Der Aedoeagus ähnelt denen der Arten Eu. pugetensis HATCH und Eu. bierigi PUTHZ stark, lässt sich aber von beiden sicher unterscheiden (Abb. 32, 33). Die Weibchen lassen sich anhand der Gestalt des 8. Sternits trennen, das am Hinterrand immer vergleichsweise tief ausgeschnitten ist ( Abb. 66, 67 View Abb ). Dieses Merkmal habe ich erst jüngst festgestellt. Deshalb bedürfen alle Weibchen von Fundorten, von denen keine Männchen untersucht wurden, der erneuten Untersuchung (s. u.).
Da beide Arten verschiedentlich auch zusammen erbeutet wurden, ist eine Genitalpräparation unerlässlich.
