Type material. Holotype. male, Tianmushan Mt. , Zhejiang Prov., 306 m, 2.ix.2017, coll. Zhi-Peng Liao.
Diagnosis. The new species is close to E. sinonanlinga on forewing patterns compared with other Evonima species. The main differences on the forewing patterns are follows: each line is blackish brown in the new species compared with the black line in E. sinonanlinga ; in the new species the basal line is invisible, but in E. sinonanlinga the basal line is present and arc-shaped; in the new species the subterminal line is closer to the terminal line than E. sinonanlinga ; in the new species the median fascia is brown, but dark orange-brown in E. sinonanlinga .
Description. Adult ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 2–15 ). Wingspan 20 mm. Head grayish white; antenna brown, bipectinate; labial palpus short, stretched forward, mostly covered with brown scales. Thorax grayish white with black, collar grayish white. Abdomen darker brown. Forewing ground color grayish white with pale brown, the costal line and the terminal area brown, the median fascia orange-brown; basal line invisible; antemedial line blackish brown, just present after cell; medial line invisible; postmedial line blackish brown, excurved and arc-shaped to Vein Cu 2, then straight to inner margin; subterminal line blackish brown, wavy; terminal line blackish brown; cilia pale brown. Hindwing unicolorous, pale blackish brown, discal spot invisible.
Male genitalia ( Figs 14 & 15 View FIGURES 2–15 ). Uncus rather long and tapering, apically pointed; tegumen narrow, elongated; valva moderately long, broadly rounded apically; costal margin slightly sclerotized; saccus small, tongue-shaped; harpe short, finely dentate. Aedeagus short; vesica without cornuti.
Female. Unknown.
Distribution. China (Prov. Zhejiang).
Etymology. The species name is derived from the name of the locality.
