Remarks. First detailed records. Trifurcula ortneri is apparently rather common in the Provence­Languedoc region, both on Coronilla minima and C. valentina . Adults reared from the latter are conspicuously larger than those that mine the small leaflets of C. min­ ima. Outside France, it is also known from Coronilla coronata and C. vaginalis , both of which occur in France in the Jura and Alps.
