Remarks. Common and widespread (van Nieukerken & Johansson 2003) but no positive records from Corsica. Leafmines are not included, but the record for 68­Haut Rhin on the map (van Nieukerken & Johansson 2003) based on a larva was inadvertently included there, although it is most likely correct. Old records include a mixture of this species, S. samiatella , and male S. ruficapitella .
