Diaphanosoma macrophthalma Korovchinsky & Mirabdullaev, 1995 .

A common planktonic species usually inhabiting lakes and ponds. D. macrophthalma occurred mostly in autumn; several males were found in two lakes (A10, A26) in autumn. In Central and East Asia from Uzbekistan to Japan, it penetrates south to North-East Thailand ( Korovchinsky & Sanoamuang 2008).
