Vernacular Names: Fish-eating Myotis.
Distribution: Coast of Sonora and Baja California ( Mexico), chiefly on small islands.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Vulnerable.
Discussion: Often placed in its own genus, Pizonyx . See Blood and Clark (1998).
