Records. Jerusalem, Galilee, mediterranean coastal plain, Jordan Valley, Jerusalem, Dead Sea Area, Bet Shemesh, Arad, Central Negev.
Dictribution. Known currently only from Israel and Sinai ( Egypt).
Notes. It is the most species-rich family in Israel and one of the best studied due to the numerous revisions made by Gershom Levy.
Nomen dubium: Pterotricha jaffana ( Strand, 1915) (j, Jaffa–Rehoboth)— Levy 1995: 945 —originally in Callilepis .
