Records. Northern Negev: Wadi Mashash 20 km south of Be'er Sheva; Central Negev: Merhav Am 5 km north-east of Sede Boqer.

Notes. Platnick (2012) also mentioned for Israel A. algerica (El-Hannawy 2004) but all the congeneric specimens collected in Israel were identified as A. fimbriata (see Miller et al. 2012: 134).

Distribution. South Mediterranean: Morocco to Israel.
