Description of Thalassobacillus devorans KYW View in CoL 872
Cells are Gramstainingnegative, nonflagellated, nonpigmented, and rodshaped. Colonies are opaque, round, smooth, convex, and creamcolored after 2 days of incubation on MA at 25°C. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, and β galactosidase in API 20NE. Strain KYW872 (= NIBR BA0000114114) was isolated from seawater, Gwangyang, Korea.
