Coloration and structure similar to E. repexus (see below).

Pygofer height about as long as its length in lateral view, dorsal margin convex, posterodorsal membranous lobe slightly broader, ventral pygofer process exceeding dorsal margin, distally broadly rounded with anterodorsal margin produced into curved apically pointed spine-like projection. Subgenital plate exceeding pygofer, with hair-like setae. Style and connective as in generic description. Aedeagus robust, with elongate well developed preatrium, dorsolateral lobes ovoid, with short quadrangular processes not reaching dorsal margin of shaft, dorsal half of shaft pigmented, apically with pair of short prong-like processes on dorsal margin of gonopore, ventral margin of aedeagus in basal region with effaced angular prominences.

Measurements. Male 6.4–6.7 mm long, 1.5–1.6 mm wide across eyes and 1.7–1.8 mm wide across hind margins of pronotum.

Material examined. Holotype ♂ INDIA: Himachal. Pradesh: 19 Km S Manali, 1500m, 11.x.1979, C.A. Viraktamath ( UASB) . Paratypes: 1 ♂, INDIA: Himachal Pradesh: Manali , 1828 m, 11.x.1979, C.A. Viraktamath ; 1 ♂, same data except 10.x.1979, Ghorpade ( UASB) .

Remarks. This species closely resembles E. repexus and manaliensis , all sympatric in Manali, but can be recognised by the structure of the ventral pygofer process and by the shape of the aedeagus.
