Dark chocolate brown dorsally, ventrally uniformly pale yellow. Crown with anteromedian short stripe, short elongate areas in front of ocelli, pale yellow, oblique pale yellow line below ocelli margined with thin brown line. Forewing costal margin beyond basal 0.33 till apical half of outer apical cell yellowish hyaline interrupted by chocolate brown at base of outer apical cell. Claval area mesally and irregular patch on inner apical cell hyaline with brownish tinge, claws chocolate brown, apices of hind tibiae and tarsi brownish.

Median length of head, pronotum and exposed mesonotum equal in length. Crown triangular, conically pointed in front of eyes, disc rugose, median carina prominent but not raised, short basal ridge on either side of median line extending to midlength and connected to transverse ridge across median line. Disc of pronotum transversely rugose. Mesonotum with basal triangles shagreen, rest sculptured.

Male genitalia. Pygofer longer than height gradually narrowed posteriorly in lateral view with conically rounded posterior lobe, devoid of processes, entire surface with angular rough microsculpture and a few scattered microsetae, pygofer lobe delineated at base by hyaline unpigmented area. Subgenital plates exceeding posterior margin of pygofer, elongate, outer margin convex in basal half, with marginal microsetae, and submarginal macrosetae along inner margin. Style with sinuate apophysis, foot-shaped, toe region thin and long. Connective Yshaped, arms short, stem long, more than twice as long as arms. Aedeagus with pigmented almost rectangular plate-like dorsal apodeme, ventral extension of atrium well developed, ventral margin without angular projection, dorsolateral lobes short, rather rectangular, shaft short, curved anteriorly with prominent apical gonopore; in ventral view aedeagus broad sub-basally and gradually narrowed distally. Segment X as long as pygofer, tubular, pigmented without process or prominent setae.

Measurements. Male 5.45 mm long, 1.15 mm wide across eyes and 1.3 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

Material examined. Holotype ♂, INDIA: Manipur: Ukhrul: Shirui , 2763 m, 25o 07’592” N, 94o 76’134” E, 27.viii.2014, Sweepnet , Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB).

Remarks. This species resembles Onukindia compressa and O. connexa externally. It is a dark species of Onukia with costal margin hyaline pale yellow in distal 0.66. The crown is more triangular and pointed anteriorly than in other species of Onukia.
