35. Loxoconcha uranouchiensis Ishizaki, 1968 View in CoL ( Fig. 35 View Fig )

ëḆffi대AEgũṆḇNj (ṵAE)

Material examined. Goheung-gun (34°24′59.6″N, 127° 29′12.7″E), Korea; collected by T Karanovic and I Karanovic on 18 August 2013 GoogleMaps .

Deposition. NIBRIV0000813450.

World distribution. Worldwide.

Diagnosis. Both valves similar to each other, oblong to elongated, very slightly tapering backward; greatest height at anterior third. Anterior margin broadly rounded, forming faint anterior cardinal angle with dorsal margin, merging into ventral margin. Posterior margin somewhat narrowly rounded. Ventral margin almost straight. Surface reticulated rather regularly. Two ridges present: one close to the ventral margin (longer) and one close to the postero-dorsal margin (shorter). Hemipenis with triangular distal lobe.

Remarks. The species differs from the original description by having two ridges on the carapace, and by having much longer third segment on A1. Also, hemipenis is somewhat different because in the original description there is a small process on the distal lobe.
