Generitype of Cherleria Linnaeus.

Current name: Minuartia sedoides (L.) Hiern View in CoL ( Caryophyllaceae ).

Note: Majumdar & Giri (in Candollea 38: 348. 1983) indicated two sheets in LINN (586.1; 586.2) as “type”, neither of which is original material for the name.
