Material examined. Korea, Yellow Sea , station 31205 (34°2 ʹ 38.52 ʺ N, 125°29 ʹ 52.5 ʺ E), 11 April 2015, by Van Veen Grab, collected by Sangjin Kim. NIBR GoogleMaps ID: NIBR PR0000107229 View Materials .
Diagnosis. Test free, elongate, round in section, early portion coiled and lenticular then biserial, and slightly curved. Chambers distinct and increasing in size quite rapidly as added. Sutures distinctly depressed. Wall calcareous, hyaline, and finely perforate. Aperture terminal, elongated loop extending from base of last chamber.
Remarks. This species is the first report of the genus Evolvocassidulina in Korea. There are six extant species in the genus, and the representative features are enrolled early stage like Cassidulina , and biserial chamber arrangement in later stages.
Distribution. Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Gulf of Mexico, Bay of Biscay.
