Lasius niger subsp. emeryi Ruzsky 1905
The taxon was described from the Pamirs and reported to have a yellowish-reddish mesosoma and short oblique hairs on scapes and tibiae, with the hairs on scapes being sparser than on tibiae. It might possibly be related to one of the Himalayan species such as L. lawarai or L. wittmeri .
