Genus Amphimonhystrella Timm, 1961
Body shorter than 1 mm. Cuticle striated or smooth under a light microscope. Inner labial sensilla papillae; outer labial and cephalic sensilla setae setiform with the outer labial longer than the cephalic setae. Buccal cavity elongated funnel, narrowing toward bottom, strongly cuticularized. Amphidial fovea circular or oval, slightly elongated in the longitudinal direction. Pharynx expanding slightly towards its base. Cardia relatively long and oval. One anterior ovary outstretched, left to intestine with a long postvulvasac. The posterior uterus present. Spicules relatively short, curved ventrally. Gubernaculum present or absent. Tail consists of a proximal conical and distal cylindrical parts with two terminal setae ( Tchesunov & Miljutina, 2005; Fonseca & Bezerra, 2014; Gagarin & Tu, 2021).
