Key to African species of Phlogis View in CoL
1 Abdominal sternite III, pale. Aedeagus sharply turned dorsally at midlength in lateral view; with sub-apical lateral processes curved posteriorly, then anteriorly, uniform in width. Style with lateral margin distally concave; relatively narrow at base of apophysis. Larger, overall length male 7.4 mm, female 7.5 mm ................................ - Abdominal sternite III black, ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). Aedeagus broadly curved dorsally at midlength in lateral view ( Fig. 10a, b View FIGURE 10 ); with subapical lateral processes curved ventrally ( Fig. 10a, b View FIGURE 10 ), expanded from narrow base ( Fig. 10c, e View FIGURE 10 ). Style with lateral margin distally relatively straight; broad at base of apophysis ( Fig. 10h View FIGURE 10 , arrow).
