Priolepis cincta (Regan 1908) —Girdled reefgoby

Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM 11462 (3 specimens, 15.2–17.1 mm SL, St. KM5 , northeast coast, Kavieng District , 02°40.976’S 150°56.961’E, intertidal, 11 June 2014).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: East Africa east to Marshall Islands and Tonga, north to southern Japan, south to northern Australia. Crevices of coastal and seaward reefs, 1–70 m depth. Marine.
