C o m m e n t: Orphnebius jumlaicus   was previously known only from Jumla district in West Nepal ( ASSING 2006a). The above records from Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir considerably expand the known distribution westwards. Some of the above material from West Nepal had been misidentified as O. hauseri   .
