Body length 4.2 – 5.7 mm. Body completely orange or tibiae and metaventrite black. Antennae longer than body, antennomere III about 1.5 – 3.5 times longer than anntenomere II. Pronotum 1.3 – 1.4 times as wide as long, covered with fine dense punctures. Elytra glabrous. Aedeagus simple, long, thin, with long internal sclerite ( Fig. 67 View Figs 66–69 ).
Species included. Hesperopenna annulicornis (Jacoby, 1896) (comb. nov.), H. antennalis ( Kimoto, 1989) (comb. nov.), H. fulvicollis (Jacoby, 1896) (comb. nov.), H. pallida ( Jacoby, 1894) (comb. nov.) and at least two undescribed species.
