Body length 3.8 – 6.5 mm. Body completely orange or tibiae and tarsi or head black. Antennomere III about 1.3 – 1.5 times longer than anntenomere II. Pronotum 1.6 – 2.0 times as wide as long, covered with almost indistinct to fine dense punctures Aedeagus ventrally with long projection from basal part directed anteriorly ( Fig. 69 View Figs 66–69 ).
Species included. Hesperopenna bicolor ( Kimoto, 1989) (comb. nov.), H. shinsakui nom. nov. (for Calomicrus bicolor Kimoto, 1989 ) and at least two undescribed species.
