Limatula subauriculata (G. Montagu, 1808) — Huber 2010: 233.

Material examined: 10 specimens from the ocean and sea slopes of Shikotan , Iturup , Simushir , Urup , and Onekotan Islands and from the South Kuril Strait (50–120 m) .

Distribution: Sea of Japan; Kuril Islands; North America from British Columbia to California; Atlantic Ocean; Mediterranean Sea (7–350 m) ( Scarlato 1981; Kantor & Sysoev 2005; Lutaenko & Noseworthy 2012).

Remarks: This is a new record from the region of the Kuril Islands.
