Megistias limae Lindsey, 1925 View in CoL (type locality Peru: Lima) placed in Cymaenes Scudder, 1872 View in CoL (type species Cobalus tripunctus Herrich-Schäffer, 1865 View in CoL ) by Evans (1955) is sister to the clade with the type species of Vehilius Godman, 1900 View in CoL ( Cobalus illudens Mabille, 1891 View in CoL , currently a subspecies of Pamphila stictomenes Butler, 1877 View in CoL ) and is not
monophyletic with C. tripunctus View in CoL ( Fig. 14 View Figure 14 ). Therefore, we establish a new combination Vehilius limae (Lindsey, 1925) .
