Diagnosis: This species closely resembles T. cisti in general appearance but can be differentiated by the following characters: Granulation of pronotum very regular, rounded, sometimes with large and stout tubercles; median carina slightly elevated in prozona, weakly incised by anterior sulci, metazona broadly parabolic, with the margins convex; the species is characterised by the tegmina not reaching the hind knee in female and by the yellow colour of hind tibia and the inside of hind femur which has a blue spot; hind femur as in T. cisti .

Habitats: A restricted species collected from one locality on vegetable.

Material examined: Sebha Region: Sebha, 4º, on vegetable, 10.v.1996 .

Localities: Fezzan: Sebha.

Distribution: Morocco, Libya.
