32. Duroniella lucasii (I. Bolivar, 1881)

Diagnosis: It can be identified by its light brown colour, lateral pronotal carinae with a pale line and narrow dark band which continues with the tegmina, and slightly ensiform antennae.

Habitats: It frequents irrigated fields and appears to be feeding on alfalfa and other vegetations.

Material examined: Al Shati region : Idri, 1 ♂, 1 ♀, 13.iv.1996 ; Qirah , 1 ♂, on alfalfa, 12.xi.1996 .

Localities: Cyrenaica: Giarabub; Tripolitania: Ain Zara; Fezzan: Idri, Qirah.

Distribution: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Moroccco, Tunisia, Guinea, Mouretania, Sahara, S.W. Asia.

Remarks: This species was described from Algeria. It has been earlier reported from Libya by salfi (1929) and Capra (1929).
