Diagnosis. This species is distinguished, externally, from all species in the genus except B. faulknerensis new species) and B. baylessae new species by the absence of a flange on the meta- tibia and the presence of a shortened flange and spine on the mesotibia ( Fig. 8c, d View Figs ). The form of the aedeagus is distinctive ( Fig. 8a, b View Figs ), with the median lobe straight, lateral processes elongate, and the ventral lobe strongly curved at its distal third and apically divided into two small, overlapping processes, the most dorsal process curved downwards over the more ventral one.

Description. Male. Measurements: HL = 0.16 mm, HW = 0.21 mm; PL = 0.17 mm, PW = 0.22 mm; EL = 0.34 mm, EW = 0.40 mm; A1–6, respectively, = 0.04, 0.06, 0.06, 0.06, 0.10, 0.02 mm; An1–11, respectively, = 0.05, 0.04, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.02, 0.03, 0.09 mm; MP1–4, respectively, = 0.01, 0.03, 0.01, 0.02 mm; GL = 0.41 mm, GW = 0.25 mm; ML = 2.2 mm. Pubescence in gular area sparse, longer than on rest of body, a few capitate. Thorax: Procoxae unmodified, protibiae laterally with small subapical setae or small spines. Mesocoxae contiguous, unmodified, mesotibiae with a large subapical tubercle and associated spine. Metacoxae unmodified, conjunct, not fully separated by short intercoxal process of ventrite I, metatibiae unmodified apically. Genitalia: Ventral lobe elongate, strongly curved dorsally at distal 1/3 and apically divided into 2 small processes, the most dorsal process curved downwards over the more ventral one.
