Iraq: 4 exs., Basra, Tanoama, I.1919 ( BMNH). Israel: 3 exs., Jordan Valley , Tirat Zvi , at UV-light, 17.VIII.-2.IX.1988, leg. Shahak ( ZMUC, cAss) ; 1 ex., Jordan Valley and Southern Golan, Bet Zaida Nat. Res. , Bet haBek, 3.VII.2003, leg. Orbach ( cAss) .
Comment: Micrillus irakensis was previously known only from Iraq and Israel ( ASSING 2008). The above specimens from Iran represent new country records.
