Chorology.
Stenus taurus was described only recently from westerly facing slopes of mountain ranges close to the Turkish border in West Azarbaijan ( Serri and Frisch 2013: 99-103; Fig. 16 View Figures 13–18 ).
Biogeographical characterization.
It is difficult to assign Stenus taurus to a particular distribution type, because its total distribution is still unknown. However, we expect it to be endemic to the Irano-Anatolian highlands.
