Genus Colanthura Richardson, 1902

Type species

Colanthura tenuis Richardson, 1902 . Ten species are currently accepted in this genus. Most have been found in shallow habitats of the Indo-Pacific; however, C. uncinata Kensley, 1978 has been found at a depth of 775 m off South Africa ( Kensley 1978 b).
