Lectotype ( Tölken in J. S. African Bot. 38: 71. 1972): [icon] " Crassula caesposa longifolia" in Dillenius, Hort. Eltham. 1: 116, t. 98, f. 115. 1732.

Current name: Crassula nudicaulis L. ( Crassulaceae ).

Note: Schonland (in Trans. Roy. Soc. S. Africa 17: 279. 1929) treated material in Herb. Sherard ( OXF) as the type but this was not seen by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
