Comments. So far, this is the only species of the genus recorded from South America. Our material was identified based on the shape of the male paramere, which was compared with the drawing provided by Drake & Chapman (1958: fig. 3a).

New records. BRAZIL — Espírito Santo • Apiacá , weir; alt. 94 m; −21.1193, −41.5668; 20. III.2022; JC Santos, JMS Rodrigues, NO Paiva, B Clarkson leg.; 5 males, 5 females, CEIOC 81820 .

Distribution in Brazil. AL, CE, ES*, MG.
