Diagnosis. Member of the hirtipes group ( Polhemus 1997). Body length 3.5–4.1 mm; general color uniformly orange-brown; male abdominal sternum VII without tubercles; spines on male hind trochanter not organized in rows; male hind femur with 6–10 spines on proximal third of posterior surface; male abdominal mediotergite VII without shiny triangular mark; female hind femur with spines on posterior surface; female abdominal mediotergites III and IV with lateral setae (Moreira 2012).
