Historic records:

— Angola (without locality) ( Antoine 1991a).

Material examined: Angola, 4 exs, Nº 1907 (blue label), nºs 152, 160, 188 and 205 (white labels), old collection, box nº IX-78, MZUC.

Remarks. The species is distributed throughout southern and eastern Africa ( Antoine 1991a, Beinhundner 2017a). Ecological data were provided by Holm & Marais (1992).
