Diagnosis. This species differs from species of the tripunctor species-group by its smooth head and mesopleuron.
Comments. This species does not belong in the tripunctor species-group but it is mentioned here as it is similar to L. orbitalis . Face (Fig. 35) and mesopleuron without distinct deep punctures, smooth or with distinct sparse punctures, polished. Claws not elongate.
