Type locality – India.
Distribution – Andaman Nicobar, Bihar, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Outside India – Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, France, Fiji, French Polynesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Tiwan, Thailand, Tonga, South Africa and USA.
Hosts – Acacia auriculiformis , Areca catechu , Cocos nucifora , Dodonia viscosa , Eriobotrya japonica , Ficus sp. , Grivellia robusta , Manihot esculenta , Rosa indica , Shorea robusta , Solanum melongena and Theobroma cacao .
