Remarks.

The specimens from Portugal morphologically matches description of Limnesia iberica , a species originally described by Lundblad (1956) from a stream in Beira Alta (Santa Comba Dão, Portugal). The Portuguese specimens form a distinct BIN ( BOLD: AFN 8367) with the closest BIN being BOLD: ACA 9272, which includes specimens from Canada, United States, and Greece assigned to L. undulata , with the p - distance estimated at 14.29 %.
