Specimens examined. (N = 2) [ Japan] 2♂♂ ( EUMJ), Iriomote Is., Uehara (24°23′19′′ N / 123°48′41′′ E) (Alt. 20 m), 12. V. 2014, M. Ito leg. GoogleMaps

Description. Internal sac everted widely and dorsally in lateral view. DA largest in bladders; VA, VLL and DLL the second largest; B, A and BLR the third largest; VLR, VB and VB smallest in the bladders.

A long and cylindrically swollen, everted apically. AL and VB roundly and slightly bulging at base of A, vested with long spines, which are forming a narrow band in AL and an oblong spot in VB. DA well swollen basally. DLL roundly swollen, vested with fine spines. VA long triangular swollen at base of DA, everted apically and dorsoapically. BLR roundly swollen left ventrally, vested numerously with well sclerotized spines, which are forming an oblong spot. VLR swollen left laterally at base of VA. VLL oval and widely swollen right laterally, with well sclerotized spines, which are forming a wide band. B oval and widely swollen right laterally, with well sclerotized spines, which are forming an oblong spot. Flagellum very long, curved and formed S-shaped. Medial tooth short, extending ventro-apically, sinuous at apex.

Remarks. This species shares the characteristics of the position of each bladder with C. aurulenta but is distinguished by the following characteristics: VA and A long. The structure of the internal sac of this species is similar to that of C. aurulenta as described above, and this result was supported by Tsuji et al. (2016). Further study is needed to review whether C. aurulenta is the same as this species.
