Orchis ustulata Linnaeus View in CoL , Species Plantarum 2: 941. 1753.

"Habitat in Europae temperatae pratis." RCN: 6815.

Lectotype (Baumann & al. in Mitteilungsbl. Arbeitskr Heim. Orchid. Baden-Württemberg 21: 537, Abb. 42. 1989): Herb. Linn. No. 1054.21, left specimen ( LINN) .

Current name: Neotinea ustulata (L.) R.M. Bateman View in CoL View at ENA & al. ( Orchidaceae ).

Note: Linnaeus knew this species from several parts of Sweden. Baumann & al. assume the type to have been collected by Linnaeus in Skåne in 1751, although the material bears no annotation that might confirm this.
