Basionym:— Neoregelia rosea L.B. Sm. View in CoL , Phytologia. 9: 245, pl. 1, figs. 8, 9. 1963. Type:— PERU. Loreto : Alto Amazonas, rainforest on middle north slopes of Cerros Campanquiz at Pongo de Manseriche , 550-750 m elevation, 22 October 1962, J.J. Wurdack 2389 (holotype US!) .
