Records from Sri Lanka. Exact locality unknown ( Butler 1872, 1873; Pocock, 1892, 1898; Attems, 1914a, 1936; Jeekel, 2001a).

Distribution. Only known from Sri Lanka.

Remarks. Pocock (1898) noted that the species is fairly similar to Zephronia brandti (= Arthrosphaera brandti ), but differs in having the anal tergite with a small tuberculiform inner crest.
