Records from Sri Lanka. Exact locality unknown ( Butler 1872, 1873; Pocock, 1892, 1898; Attems, 1914a, 1936; Jeekel, 2001a).
Distribution. Only known from Sri Lanka.
Remarks. Pocock (1898) noted that the species is very close to Zephronia versicolor (= Arthrosphaera versicolor ) in the sinuate inferior border of the nuchal plate, but can be distinguished by the evenly arched anterior edge of the first tergite, and by the different color.
