Greece: 1 ♂, Crete, Aloides env., 35.37°N, 24.87°E, 420 m, tree cavities of Olea trees sifted, 18.IV.2015, leg. Kocian (cKoc) GoogleMaps . Turkey: 3 exs., Antalya, Alanya , 30 km E Beldibi, 1000 m, 1.IV.1996, leg. Kopetz ( NME) ; 1 ex., Alanya , 12 km W Güzelbag, 600–900 m, 4.IV.1996, leg. Kopetz (cAss).

Comment: The distribution of M. rufiventris is of the Ponto-Mediterranean type ( ASSING 2013).
