Type. China: Fujian Province, Kwangtseh ; Holotype female ( ZFMK).

Diagnosis. Oval; 4.1 mm (n = 1) in length; 2.1 mm (n = 1) in width; derm piceous; rostrum more than half as long as body, scrobe ventral; scape inserted in apical half; pronotal disc with laterobasal macula proximal to elytral intervals 7–10 of clavate, cretaceous scales; mesepimeron with dense macula of clavate, cretaceous scales; mesosternal intercoxal process prominent; scutellum small, broader than long, piceous, flanked by macular fascia of clavate, cretaceous scales on elytral intervals 1–4; elytra, with cretaceous macular fascia distad of midpoint on intervals 2, 3, 5, 7–9, intervals 4 and 6 with piceous scales, distal third of interval 1 with short vitta of cretaceous scales to apex; hind femur with medium tooth, slightly exceeding apex of abdomen; abdominal sternite 1 longer than 2 behind coxal cavity. Genitalia: medium lobe of aedeagus 0.7 mm (n = 1) in length; 0.3 mm (n = 1) in width; base narrower than apex in dorsal view, margins thick, feebly deflected in lateral view, apex with three teeth, center tooth longer and broader with rounded apex; apodeme 0.5 mm (n = 1) in length (Fig. 86).

Distribution. China: Fujian Province, Kwangtseh, Shaowu, and Chungan.

Remarks. Very similar to Curculio chevrolati (Faust) , but distinguished by location of basal macula on pronotum in relation to macula on base of elytra, length of hind femur, and distinctive male genitalia, apex with three prominent teeth.
