Type. Japan: Holotype male, B. funebris (ISNB) .

Diagnosis. Oval; 3.4–4.2 mm (mean = 3.9, n = 6) in length; 1.8–2.3 mm (mean = 2.1 mm, (n = 6) in width; derm piceous; rostrum as long as or longer than half body length; antennal club long with segments 1 and 2 almost equal in length, segments 3–4 combined as long as segment 2, total length of club longer than funicular segments 2–7; thorax slightly convex in lateral view, disc with narrow, elongate, testaceous scales, pleuron with elongate, narrow, white scales; scutellum longer than broad, large, clothed with narrow, elongate, cretaceous scales; elytral disc slightly convex in lateral view, clothed with basal fascia of narrow, elongate, white scales, with submedian macular fascia of white scales and scattered patches of white scales; crosshatched setae suberect moderately long, white. Genitalia: aedaegus median lobe 0.6 mm (n = 1) in length; 0.3 mm (n = 1) in width; margins begin narrow, then thicken toward apex in dorsal view; apex broader than base, margins bowed; laterally thick from base to apex, slightly deflected at apex with broadly rounded protrusion directed down (Figs. 72–74).

Plant Associations. Ficus erecta Kwon and Lee (1990) .

Distribution. Japan: Honshu, Kyushu, Shikoku; China: Jiangxi, Guangxi Zhuangzu, and Fujian Provinces; Korea: Chungmun.

Remarks. Separated from taxa in this species group by segments 1–4 of antennal club combined longer than funicular segments 2–7.
