Type. Japan: Holotype male ( INSB).
Diagnosis. Elongate oval; 3.5–3.9 mm (mean = 3.7 mm, n = 3) in length; 1.9–2.1 mm (mean = 2.0 mm, n = 3) in width; rostrum, base piceous to insertion of scape, then fuscorufous to apex; antennae fuscorufous; scape not as long as funicular segments 1–6; pronotal disc slightly convex, vestiture, mixture of narrow, elongate, testaceous and fuscous scales; elytra convex in lateral view, clothed with testaceous and fuscous scales, some specimens with fuscous macula; scutellum slightly longer than broad, somewhat triangular, clothed with testaceous scales; femora with derm black; tibiae derm fuscous. Genitalia: median lobe of aedeagus 0.55 mm (n = 1) in length; 0.15 mm (n = 1) in width, margins thin at base, becoming gradually thicker toward rounded apex in dorsal view, laterally thin at base; becoming gradually thicker toward deflected apex; apex triangular with acute point; apodeme 0.7 mm (n = 1) in length (Figs. 79–81). spermatheca, ramus obliquely erect; collum small, rounded, almost undifferentiated from ramus; cornu, thickened at base tapering to rounded apex (n = 1) (Fig. 82).
Distribution. Japan; China: Fujian, Province 240–1,210 m.
Remarks. Similar to C. albisquama , but distinguished by convex elytra in lateral view, and coloration.
