This Afrotropical species was described from Tanzania, widespread in Africa ( Cape Verde Islands, South Africa, Zimbabawe) ( Priesner 1950a) to Yemen (zur Strassen 1990) and isnew to Saudi Arabia.
Material studied. Riyadh. Al Hair , one female from Cuscuta planiflora , 28.iii.2019, ( BT), Aldryhim, Y. N. and Rasool, I. Dirab, five females from Acacia sp. one male from Ficus carica , 28.vi.2020, ( SW), Soliman, A .
