Monepidosis scepteri Spungis, 2006 View in CoL

The only specimens existing of Monepidosis scepteri have previously been the holo- and paratype males, which the describing author collected in two different sites in Latvia in 1980 and 1981, respectively ( Spungis 2006). The third specimen of this species is reported here from southeast Sweden .

Previous distribution. Latvia. Occurrence in Sweden: Öland.

Specimen studied. SWEDEN: male (CEC282), Öland , Mörbylånga, Skogsby forest NR, mixed deciduous forest with much dead ash, 15 July–17 Aug. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof.
