Males of this Lestremia are peculiar for the gonocoxites elongated posteriorly into exceedingly long processes and gonostyli strongly reduced in size ( Jaschhof 1994).

Previous distribution. Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Morocco. Occurrence in Sweden: Småland. Specimens studied. SWEDEN: 2 males (CEC208–209), Småland, Nybro, Bäckebo, Grytsjön NR, tall forest of aspen and conifers, 22 Aug.–29 Sep. 2015, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof.
