Type examined. Holotype 3: Bali: Kebun Raya, 1600 m, J. Pedersen 4.II.1994 ( ZMUC).
Description. Body brown with testaceous antennae and legs, 4 mm long; length from anterior margin of head to posterior margin of elytra 2 mm. Similar to Metolinus dembickyi Bordoni, 2002 from Thailand, but paler, with smaller and shorter head, covered by sparser punctures, with smaller eyes; pronotum with less oblique anterior margins.
Tergite and sternite of male genital segment as in figs. 18–19. Aedeagus (fig. 20) very thin (0.44 mm long), with short parameres; internal sac not visible.
Distribution. It is known to me only from the type locality.
Etymology. The specific epithet is based on the name of Bali.
Notes. Based on the external characters, this species belong to the Meolinus dembickyi Bordoni group.
